Inspired by modern typically-Italian homes, the Collection defines sophisticated spaces where upholstery, furniture and accessories celebrate the expressive codes of the Roman Maison. The exhibition space at Maison et Objet 2018 displays a refined and convivial atmosphere: walls covered in marbles, such as Travertine, Calacatta and Rosso Lepanto, alternated with exquisite wallpaper and wooden surfaces.

Graphic structures and soft volumes are enhanced by a palette of neutral colours and by delicate lacquering. Moderate mixes of colours reveal the careful use of tones through powdery shades that create continuity: ivory, quartz grey, dove grey but also lake blue and various shades of brown. Soft, high-performance fabrics emphasize the comfort of the seats as a tribute to FENDI’s sartorial tradition.

The rich cotton velvets with three-dimensional patterns are reminiscent of technical fabrics. The soft, exquisite and highly tactile chenille is presented in forms that reflect the upholstery contemporary inclination. The new sofas stand out with their new and exclusive movements for the utmost relaxation and comfort. Fendi Casa truly shined thanks to that at Maison et Objet 2018.

The precious leathers are enhanced by grains and thicknesses that recall the consistency of the fabrics: high-quality gloss and semi-gloss finishes reflect the couture attitude of the Collection. The furnishing proposals are decorated with accessories in fox, marmot and orylag fur in natural and pastel hues, manufactured with inlays and volumes that are the expression of FENDI’s excellence in the art of fur. here are constant references to metallic tones in the structures finely matched with surfaces in marble or in Macassar Ebony and Dark Rosewood. Through the glass with lacquered back there is an encounter with the plating with Bronze Shadow and Gun Metal finishes and the light tones of the tops.

ABBRACCIO SOFA – Abbraccio is a sofa that is a synthesis of linear design and a new concept of comfort. The project has a functional and tidy line and stands out thanks to the armrest that flows in a continuous line from the backrest. The wide seat has a unique system for maximum comfort and relaxation. A solution that includes complementary movements on the backrest, seat and footrest, operated with integrated soft-touch controls. The collection of Abbraccio sofas is available with leather or fabric upholstery and in two- or three-seater versions.

MONTGOMERY EMBRACE SOFA – Montgomery is a sofa characterized by a linear geometry and squared shapes. The wide arms, set lowered compared to the backrest, suggest the same softness of the generous seat, available with leather or fabric upholstery. Contrasting leather or metal details on the arms elegantly define the design and contour the sofa. It is presented in the new Embrace version with innovative, high-performance, relaxing movements.

ICON SOFA – Icon is a sofa defined by a clear geometry and contrasting materials. The square lines enhance the soft seat and back cushions with leather or fabric upholstery. The design of the wide armrests is outlined by a contrasting leather detail and sealed by a thin metal edge.

DELANO BED – Delano is a new bed where volumes, decorative identity and refined elegance blend in harmony. A solution that enhances any bedroom thanks to the large headboard with vertical quilted pattern and the steel profiles with polished brass finish. Available with matching upholstery in lake blue velvet, the bed frame is supported by a base in wenge-stained wood. The Volturno night table in lacquered wood with steel details complete the project.

LOULOU ARMCHAIR – LouLou is a loveseat with wide, generous proportions. The wraparound backrest follows the circular shape of the structure that – houses the generous seat padding. The leather or fabric upholstery in the colours of the Collection exalts the elegant romantic look of the furnishings.

FANNY ARMCHAIR – Fanny is an enveloping armchair with curved and well-calibrated lines. The design of the semi-circular structure, made of padded steel, has a soft seat cushion upholstered in matching fabric. In the new version, Fanny has a contrasting leather exterior finish, marked by ton-sur-ton seams. The steel base with the finishes of the Collection can be fitted with a swivel mechanism making it perfect as a convivial armchair or for reading.

ANTIUS SIDEBOARD – Antius is a sideboard with straight volumes marked by rounded corners. The structure made of wood, in new Macassar Ebony variant, is decorated with metal details that outline the surface of the doors with a motif of contrasting straight lines. The rounded corners of the profile and the top in smoked or bronze tempered glass add more stylistic notes.
