The leading design exhibition for contemporary interior design and culture, designjunction 2017 is set to return to the outstanding King’s Cross area from 21-24 September for this year’s London Design Festival. More than 200 international design brands will present their new launches and established collections including Lammhults, Deadgood, Bethan Gray and LaPalma.

Dedicated to the world’s most iconic audience comprised of architects, interior designers, retailers, and media, designjunction is a place where all industry professionals and enthusiasts can meet, do business and be inspired by each other. The flagship event will take place across five destinations: Cubitt House and Cubitt Park, The Canopy, Granary Square and The Crossing. A great amalgamation of international furniture, lighting, accessory and technology brands will be showcasing their pieces and projects. These spaces will also highlight pop-up shops, installations and interactive features.

One of the main projects that will headline the Granary Square will be a new collaboration with Renault UK. The renowned car manufacturer will demonstrate their design philosophy in a unique and playful way, creating a mesmeric experience that follows the concept ‘Beautiful Life’. Moreover, Turkishceramics will produce an installation in the central fountain in celebration of the rich history of ceramics in Turkey.

The decorative lighting section, Lightjunction will come back this year with a curated selection of leading global lighting firms. Since its inception, lightjunction has attracted world-class brands including Artemide, DCW Èditions, FontanaArte, Marset, Northern Lighting, Örsjö and Slamp.

Designjunction has joined forces with design-led watch brand Rado that will be launching the very first UK edition of the Rado Star Prize design competition which targets emerging British designers that work within the interior, industrial and technology design industries, ending in a spectacular exhibition as well as an awards ceremony at the show.
