Today she not only runs her design firm, but with her husband John Rosselli, owns Treillage Ltd., a shop selling garden objects, antiques, and decorative accessories, based in New York. In 2008 she introduced a celebrated home furnishings collection, Bunny Williams Home, which continues to expand online (www.bunnywilliamshome.com) and in showrooms across the country. New collections are introduced annually. Williams’ fourth book, “Scrapbook for Living” was published by Stewart, Tabori & Chang in November 2010.

Each time one of our designers introduces a new collection, we can’t wait to share their inspiration and decorating tips with you. For the introduction of her new upholstery collection, we sat down with acclaimed designer Bunny Williams to talk about the importance of silhouette, why she prefers solid fabrics on the upholstered piece and her must-haves for the coffee table.
In this story-filled monograph, Bunny Williams presents new work through 15 houses she has decorated and loved. She tells the tale of each “affair,” tracing the style of the spaces, what drew her to the projects, and her approach to decor that evolves with the lives of her clients.
For 28 years the world-renowned interior designer Bunny Williams has been involved in a passionate love affair with an an18th-century New England manor house that she found in sad repair. From the moment she walked up the driveway and her palms began to perspire, Williams knew she wanted the affair to last forever. In her sumptuous new book, An Affair with a House, the venerable decorator describes in detail how she and her husband, antique dealer John Rosselli, rescued, nurtured, renovated, and decorated the well-worn house, giving it new life as they restored each room, resurrected the abandoned gardens, and filled this weekend home with family and friends.
