Zaha Hadid Design is another presence that had to make it to Maison et Objet 2020 like every year. The brand has debuted the new Plex vessel and extensions to the Cell, Pulse, Duo and Serenity collections. Once again goes to show that the brand has been managing to maintain its unique quality in regards to innovations in glasswork. CovetED is going to let you in on the essentials before you see the full collection for yourself at the event.
The new Plex vessel made in a crystal is comprised of two elements. It can be stacked vertically to conceal its contents or separated into parts that nest together. The point of this piece for Zaha Hadid was to be presented as a multi-use object for the user.
Within the Plex vessel, we can find the limited edition piece Serenity centrepiece. One definitely notices the pristine surface interrupted by ripples that refract and reflect light.
