This building consists of a superbly renovated 19th-century manor house, famous for its jaw-dropping views of the Douro River. Among some of the main features of this amazing establishment, there’s a spa, restaurants, a wine library, swimming pools and an organic garden. Clodagh handled a lot of elements in regards to keeping loyal to the style and tradition of the region.

The design firm was responsible for the aforementioned wine library that is very alike a village town square. Clodagh also managed to be playful with the traditions associated with the region (mainly the vine and wine production), by introducing a lovely ceiling fixture that’s entirely made out of local bottles. This very same space is used for wine tasting and tapas as well.
