This 18th-century palace is located next to the National Museum of Ancient Art, one of the most emblematic places in the Portuguese capital. This small charm hotel, which is believed to have been the inspiration for the famous «Ramalhete» from the literary work «Os Maias» written by Eça de Queiroz, who is said to have lived here, revives the XVII through its objects d’art, books and family photos.

It was formerly a luxury hotel consisting of 14 rooms, a heated pool and even a private bar. The queen of pop has succumbed to the charms of the Portuguese capital, as in some statements said that “The energy of Portugal is very inspiring, I feel so alive and creative here.”

And no wonder, the building is pure inspiration. The palace is located in Rúa das Janelas Verdes, and previously belonged to one of the most important families of the Portuguese aristocracy, the Dukes of Pamela.

Although the facade of the hotel is not at all ostentatious, it hides in its interior a residence with all the desirable luxuries. It has several gardens, heated pools and walls with 18th century tiles that are a marvel, typical of Portugal.
