Antolini presentes the new set-up designed by Alessandro La Spada for Maison et Objet, focusing on a scenic light effect. This year, once again among the key players at Maison et Objet, Antolini presented an installation where the spaces opened like a stage, where material and transparent surfaces created evocative perspective effects. Magnetic and Precious, the central area was enclosed by two natural stone walls made of Invisible Blue Stratos Design that hold the gaze, supporting the volumes of the furnishing elements.

From the reception desk in Invisible Grey (lether), the space opened onto the two lateral areas: the Steam Room and the Bathroom area, which evoked moments of sophisticated relax. In the Steam Room, the horizontal robustness of the bench in Invisible Fantasy Stratos Design is softened by round inserts in Invisible Blue (polished) and it interacts with the cylindrical shape of the ice container, slightly rounded at the bottom, also made in Invisible Blue (lether).

In the Bathroom area, the visual focus was the bathtub in Invisible Grey (lether) which, with its curved lines and skilful surface effects, is an invitation to dive in elegance. The washbasins in Invisible Grey (leather), with an Invisible Fantasy Stratos Design base, offer that same refinement. The shower tray in Invisible Grey Gold (lether) recalls the roundness of the bathtub, the faucets providing an element of verticality. The brightness of the floor in Invisible Grey Gold (polished) guided the visitor in these suffused spaces of pleasure, where the steam will envelop the material and expressive strength of the natural stone, revealing it gradually.

These settings, capable of showcasing the versatile elegance of Antolini’s materials in a wellness interpretation, led to the final work area, which was accessed through sublime backlit surfaces in Invisible Grey that amplify and reflect seductive effects of light play. Here, tables made in Invisible Light (polished) were the perfect setting for discussion and work situations. The details of the Clan Milan (Ring 60 and Ring 80) chandeliers enhanced the set-up with a graceful touch of golden light.
