Filipe Faísca

Filipe Faísca made the closing honors of this 49th edition of Lisbon Fashion Week. In his collection, titled “Fertilizer”, the designer brought the past into the present, working with traditional fibers such as cotton, linen, silk, and viscose with innovative technological finishes. Embroidery, foil, patterns, lace, beads gave multiple textures to her elegant and feminine proposals.

Mustra

Mustra presented a collection of urban menswear, contemporary and sophisticated, inspired by a trip to Sicily and the silhouettes of the 1950s. Color, floral, graphics, Vichy and striped patterns were protagonists.

Luís Carvalho

The texture and form of an eagle were the inspiration of Luís Carvalho. This season, the Portuguese fashion designer worked with more linear and long silhouettes, with several layers and folds, and a colour palette mainly composed of pastel shades. The ochre was used as a contrasting shade in more structured materials such as cotton and linen, as well in more fluid textiles such as cetin.

Nair Xavier

Nair Xavier presented a collection of urban and contemporary menswear, which combined its design and innovation with the production excellence of Diniz & Cruz. In this season, the young fashion designer reflected on the ancestry, crossing the legacy of the revolutionary group, Black Panthers, in the 70’s, with the identity of the Maasai tribe.

Aleksandar Protic

After an absence of three seasons, Aleksandar Protic returned to shine in the passerelle of the Lisbon Fashion Week. The designer drew on Barbara Hepworth’s sculptures and worked in soft, organic forms, in parallel with more rigid and geometric forms, translating the openings and connecting threads that are always present in the artist’s works through pleats, draperies, and belts. Silks and cotton were his materials of choice. Colors: gold, mustard, bronze, white and black.
