Renowned French designer Baptiste Bohu was responsible for the interior design of the glamorous 400m2 luxury apartment in Shanghai. The biggest challenge that the creative designer had to face was organising the rooms in the completely round layout of the modern French styled apartment. The designer conceived a home with lengthened areas and communal spaces for a young couple of entrepreneurs.

The entrance is characterised by a stunning black and white marble floor as well as French styled mouldings in shades of grey. It also has a striking blue console and a painting of the couple’s dog which was commissioned by New-York based artist, Koller.

The corridor leading to the private areas of the apartment features BRABBU’s Cygnus Display, a chic design piece comprised of multiple rectangles and squares, made of cast brass and finished in copper. Cygnus stands adjacent to an exclusive De Gournay hand-painted wallpaper with pink flamingos. Out of curiosity, this mid-century art piece was inspired by one of the brightest constellations in the sky, making it quite singular.

The stunning living room features an ethanol fireplace with Mondrian-styled patterns in grey and black stainless steel as well as Italian white marble. The majestic place highlights a remarkable lighting fixture from the luxury brand, DelightFULL, the Botti Chandelier.

The connection to the dining room has a large library for book and art display surrounded by beautiful sconces that resemble the form of golden ribbons. The kitchen also has French typed mouldings and has a vivid yellow cabinet and a marble counter top.

The bedroom features the signature colours and patterns used by the designer,  black and white, while also completing the decor with striking Japanese art pieces. The designed customised in one piece of stone, the phenomenal sink that is present in the master bathroom. The mirror was also customised and contains drawers inside. The bathroom is well-appointed with the latest technological advancements.

This extremely elegant apartment has a very calm and soothing ambience and features just the right touch of harmony and glamour, in the form of artwork and furniture pieces, like Cygnus.
