Bronsen is a design house and consultancy based in Brooklyn, NY. Founding members Justin and Pilar formed Bronsen with the desire to create thoughtful work that connects with people. Together they develop intriguing lifestyle goods through informed explorations and considered execution. Coveted Magazine is thrilled to present a unique and astonishing project by Bronsen, named Safari Collection.
Project Safari is an alluring collection of five ceramic animal bust-forms. Each form is styled through an in-depth exploration of the features and personality of their respective animal. The intention is to capture the essence of each animal by breaking out and distilling their unique features into compelling geometric renditions. The final shapes are delivered through a considered approach to achieve a unified collection of compelling subjects. Ceramic Stoneware was chosen as the material for Project Safari because it is precious – fragile yet resilient. This choice represents an appropriate reflection of the real-world counterparts in the wild; they are cherished – endangered yet tenacious. They are creatures of the earth that should be valued and protected.
The bust-forms are made in stoneware and oered in a white or charcoal glaze. The collection was designed by Bronsen in Brooklyn, NY and each piece is handmade in America.
Hamilton, Grayson, Gerard, Lewis and Calvin are Project Safari.
A collection of 5 ceramic animal bust-forms forms that will enliven any environment. Each is glazed in either a satin-white or a satin-black.
