Tucked away in the vibrant heart of Colonia Juárez, Soho House Mexico City marks the brand’s first foray into Latin America—and it does so with unmistakable flair. Housed in a Baroque-inspired French-style casa, the location celebrates the rich cultural identity of Mexico City while embracing Soho House’s global signature of artistic immersion, stylish comfort, and elevated social living.
The historic building—an architectural gem with French influences—has been transformed into a destination where design, hospitality, and art collide. Inside, the House features multiple bars (including a dedicated tequila bar), two restaurants, and the largest pool across all Soho House locations in the Americas. The interiors blend local craftsmanship and artistic sensibility: think custom-made furniture by Mexican artisans, and a design ethos that honors both the building’s European heritage and the creative pulse of its surroundings.
A Refined Stay with Local Flavor The House’s four guest bedrooms, all located on the second floor, are designed as intimate extensions of the building’s Baroque charm. Each space reflects a blend of classical French design and contemporary Mexican detail, creating an atmosphere that is both romantic and grounded in place. While the bedrooms offer serene retreats, guests should expect to feel the gentle hum of the House’s social life—especially in the evenings when the downstairs spaces come alive.
Dining at the House From morning through late night, guests can enjoy a menu influenced by regional ingredients and culinary traditions. Whether indulging in tacos and ceviches by the pool or sampling global Soho House favorites, the experience is one of generous flavor and thoughtful presentation. On select evenings, the Pool House transitions into a Mediterranean-inspired dining room, while Sundays bring the Feast—a beloved House tradition that offers everything from classic breakfast fare to a show-stopping Al Pastor Trompo.
A Cultural Canvas: The Art Collection What truly sets Soho House Mexico City apart is its commitment to the city’s dynamic art scene. Curated in 2023 by Chief Art Director Kate Bryan and Art Collection Manager Anakena Paddon, the House’s art collection is a bold, immersive celebration of creativity. It features more than 160 pieces across a variety of media, from textile and sculpture to photography and glasswork, all created by artists born, based, or trained in Mexico.
Working closely with leading galleries such as Kurimanzutto, OMR, PEANA, Campeche, and Salón Silicón, the curation introduces museum-quality works into the social fabric of the House. Notable pieces include Abraham Cruzvillegas, Ana Segovia, and Zhivago Duncan in the main restaurant; Sofía Táboas’s monumental glass installation in the Annex; and Yeni Mao’s hanging sculpture above the Pool House.
The most arresting of all is the floor-to-ceiling textile installation in the reception area by artist duo Cuerpo Celeste (Gabriel Rosas Alemán and María Fernanda Camarena). Wrapping across all four walls, it transforms the entrance into a tactile, emotive introduction to the space’s core mission: to create a home for artists, makers, and creative thinkers.
A Place to Gather In true Soho House fashion, the Mexico City location offers versatile event spaces, perfect for intimate dinners, cultural gatherings, and large celebrations. From the underground Vinyl Bar to the sun-soaked Pool House, each space is designed with both aesthetics and atmosphere in mind.
By blending old-world charm with a contemporary cultural pulse, Soho House Mexico City has become more than just a members’ club—it is a living, breathing testament to the creativity and character of one of the world’s most exciting cities.
