Benjamin West was founded in Boulder, Colorado in 1998 and is privately owned. Today, in addition to its Boulder headquarters, Benjamin West has offices in Chicago, Dallas, and London, with a staff of over 110 professionals.

Since the company was founded, it has grown exponentially, from a small staff to a global team of procurement and accounting professionals, with specialist teams focused on exclusive markets across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Along with their team, their experience has grown immensely, spanning projects in 40 countries and six territories, across all major brands, and nearly every type of product type and asset class. However, their values have never changed: they remain committed to accuracy, integrity, and reliability, and other guiding principles that allow them to achieve their mission and vision.

Benjamin West has taken an active role in the launch of the Hospitality Sustainable Purchasing Consortium, along with other hotel industry leaders, led by MindClick SGM. The idea behind the consortium is that, up until now, no solution has existed to provide owners, brands, project managers, and stakeholders with the sustainability performance standards and information needed to evaluate, compare and select sustainable FF&E and OS&E products and suppliers.
