Masquespacio: Materia Capsule

Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse founded Masquespacio, an award-winning creative company, in 2010. The Spanish design studio offers custom-made branding and interior projects using a unique methodology that results in fresh and original concepts, combining the two professions of its founders, interior design and marketing. We spoke with the design duo and inquired about the Materia Collection, a special collaboration between Masquespacio and Covet Collection.

Wooden Ball Chair Round

The wooden ball chair contrasts a soft fabric (fabric) with a tougher substance (wood) (wood). The ball’s spherical form is a metaphor to our planet, but it is broken by a stone form made of cloth that reminds us of many items floating around in space and hanging together haphazardly.

Branch Lamps Hanging

The branch lamp collections stand out for their unique shapes that remind us of tree branches. A light with an odd shape.

Matter Chair

With its variety of materials, shapes, and volumes, the Matter chair is a great depiction of the collection itself.

Body Chair

The Body chair, like a body, but in an unreal way and scale, represents a certain individual; either it is flawless with its novel shapes, or else it appears to be from outer space.
