As everybody knows, Christmas is just around the corner and to celebrate the holiday season Netflix released A Very Murray Christmas in all territories where is available, and the streaming service has just premiered a brand-new trailer for the holiday special. Check out the trailer below!

With Bill Murray playing himself as he worries no one will show up to his TV show due to a terrible snow storm in New York City, A Very Murray Christmas is an homage to the classic variety show. Through luck and perseverance, guests arrive at the Carlyle hotel to help him, dancing and singing in the holiday spirit.

“What I like to have Bill indulge for my own pleasure and amusement. I always enjoy seeing him in distress and then getting out of it. So the idea of putting him in a situation in the special where he’s having the worst Christmas, and then it all turns around, was something we responded to because there is so much expectation around that time of year and it’s easy to be disappointed”, explains Sofia Coppola.

The star-studded cast also includes George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Chris Rock, Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Dimitri Dimitrov, Michael Cera, David Johansen, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, Frederic Moulin, Rashida Jones, and much more.
