Nightlife guru David Grutman partnered up with Pharrell Williams on his latest project, a contemporary restaurant and a cocktail lounge in Miami’s design district. Swan Restaurant serves a menu created by Executive Chef Jean Imbert that “emphasizes clean eating,” according to a press release, while Bar Bevy is open for drinks on the second floor. This deluxe restaurant aims to bring a bohemian feel with a rooftop lounge, an outdoor garden and a pastel colour palette.

Pick 6ix Restaurant

Canadian rapper Drake and his mate OVO Chubbs teamed up to create the Pick 6ix Restaurant with “top-tier service and an expansive menu” by Executive Chef Antonio Park. This exquisite restaurant, which aims to cater to celebrity clientele with a private entrance and VIP dining room, kicked off with a birthday bash for Dwyane Wade hosted by LeBron James. “We saw an opportunity in the Toronto restaurant scene for a much-needed, bold, high energy atmosphere”.

Nobu Restaurant

The iconic actor Robert De Niro has quite the culinary presence in New York City – he opened Tribeca Grill, Locanda Verde and Nobu. Working with Nobu Matsuhisa, the Japanese chef who made black cod with miso famous, on the upscale restaurant’s menu, DeNiro has expanded the luxury restaurant empire to open Nobu locations in over 35 cities, including Honolulu, Moscow and Budapest.

You can’t escape! Saints and Sinners sit at Channing Tatum’s luxury restaurant and bar, a tribute to New Orleans nightlife and the city’s Storyville red-light, Burlesque district. A good time is certainly in store for the bustling crowds of the Big Easy – the extravagant restaurant which is decked out in contemporary bordello decor provides a lengthy cocktail menu with sections dedicated to speciality drinks and dirty martinis.

Jon Huertas, the star on NBC’s hit drama This Is Us, also owns a rugged Cali-Mex luxury restaurant in Venice, California. The Clutch, a roadhouse bar, features barbecue, surf, and turf and craft cocktails. This bar is a hot-spot for motorcyclists and classic car enthusiasts.

Soul Kitchen Restaurant

When Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea opened two locations of their volunteer-run Soul Kitchen in New Jersey, they wanted to create a community where diners pay if they can – a model that was Dorothea’s brainchild. Unlike at a standard soup kitchen, diners of all socioeconomic backgrounds sit together at communal tables, as the contemporary restaurant serves both paying customers and those in need.

The musician power couple Gloria and Emilio Estefan opened their upscale Cuban luxury restaurant in Miami’s Design District – serving everything from croquetas and bocaditos (bite-size sandwiches made with pimento cheese) to marinated roast pork and sweet plantain flatbreads. “This is what people come to Miami for — great food, great drinks, great music”. The interior design of this luxury restaurant is a mix of white and purple offering a fine dining experience.
