Pure presents the avant-garde of international design in various interior design worlds. In Pure Atmospheres, visitors can immerse themselves in densely atmospheric lifestyle scenarios: this is where companies can stage their brand worlds on a grand scale (Hall 11). By contrast, the gallery-like design of the Pure Editions halls gives design brands the opportunity to present their brand essence and the major interior design trends in concentrated form (Halls 2.2, 33.1, 3.2). In between, there’s plenty for visitors to discover at various events: fascinating showcases, young design and informative forums. For 2020, Imm Cologne is planning on adding Pure Architects to this platform.
Comfort is a business hub for all kinds of upholstery seating. It takes a sofa and armchairs to turn four walls into a snug and comfy home – and for the majority of consumers, aspects like wellbeing, warmth and ergonomics are the main priorities. The product ranges on show in Comfort combine these qualities with trend-conscious good looks and a high degree of practicality. Comfort, at Halls 6 and 10.2, covers the entire spectrum of upholstered furniture: suites, armchairs, divans, standalone sofas and convertible couches.
Prime interprets classic, family-oriented home furnishings with comfortably modern, stylish aesthetics and consistently high quality, covering all categories based on tables, chairs, cabinets and beds. The interior world of Prime, at Halls 5.1 and 10.1, is home to classic furniture that creates a sense of familiarity and will accompany its owner for a lifetime. Wood – the preferred material in this segment – stands for warmth, stability and sustainability, while technical perfection and multi-functionality represent a modern lifestyle.
Smart combines the practicality and versatility expected of furniture for young lifestyles with a trendy design – for the living room, self-assembly and bedroom categories. With Halls 7 and 8, Smart has the generous amount of space it needs to showcase the huge variety of clever product solutions in modern, quality materials that provide sufficient storage space and versatile usage options for young lifestyles and people furnishing their first home. Besides standalone items and complete furnishing systems for the living area and bedroom, this segment also includes home accessories and the wide-ranging field of self-assembly furniture.
The mattresses and sleep systems, box-spring beds and water beds in the interior world of Sleep provide innovative sleeping comfort and are complemented by decorative bedding and accessories. Since well-being depends on the combined effect of the individual elements of a sleep system, their climate-regulating properties, as well as their look and feel, textile bedding ranges are also an integral part of Sleep, located at Hall 9. Together with the accessories, they succeed in turning a product category that is largely defined by ergonomic and technical aspects into a genuine lifestyle segment driven by wellness aspirations.
Global Lifestyles has individual exhibitors and group presentations from Europe and Asia that present a broad, sales-oriented spectrum ranging from self-assembly furniture and classic living room and bedroom furniture all the way to lighting, accessories and unusual sculpture for the home. This international marketplace is characterised by a diverse mix of categories and an attractive price-quality ratio. For manufacturers of living room and bedroom furniture from the (mainly Eastern) European and Asian economic regions, the universal scope of Global Lifestyles, at Hall 2.1, makes it the ideal entry-level segment for the Central European market.
