The brand, known for its peculiar looks is partnering with Disney to create many various products associated and based on the studio’s new movie “Alice Through The Looking Glass” that is planned to be in the cinemas in May 2016. The movie is a sequel to famous “Alice in Wonderland” (with the stars such as Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter) which is a Modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s book with the same title. Although it is good to say that “Through the Looking Glass” will not be directed by Tim Burton (the director of the first Alice movie), but by James Bobin. We care sure we will do a great job! Marc Jacobs says that we will take the inspirations from both modern and an old version of this popular story, for children and adults. It is been said that the collection will be small, according to WWD.
What’s more? The theme will be continued onto Marc by Marc Jacob’s send-off holiday display windows at some stores.

The collection that is nicely named “I Am Not Like Other Girls” will more likely include sunglasses, backpacks, totes, phone/Iphone cases, jewelry, watches, sweatshirts and many, many more all in the spirit of this fairytale. We will be able to find a lot of references such as hearts and bows. Those precious items will be available to purchase worldwide and the price will range from $60 to $400.
Covetedition knows that those who still remember his amazing Mickey Mouse jumper from Spring 2013 collection (that even Miley Cyrus wore !) are holding their breaths for the All-Alice-inspired series. After all marc Jacobs has decided to take the brand back to its original roots.
