Incipit is a creative lab and business based in Milan, which was found in 2013 by Marta Bernstein and Roberto Hoz, aiming to encourage and support young and promising creative talents, turning their ideas into high-quality products, combining the liveliness of contemporary experimentation with the tradition of the Italian craft. This sophisticated design studio and lab will feature the new pieces of the lighting collection at Maison et Objet 2017 and, for sure, you will not want to miss the opportunity to know better about the brand’s outstanding range of products.

The lighting collection nicknamed Agata was designed by Sovrappensiero Design Studio which is part of Incipit design team. Sovrappensiero Design Studio was founded in Milan in 2007 and it is a creative partnership between Lorenzo De Rosa and Ernesto Iadevaia.

The refined and exquisite lighting collection represents perfectly the creativity and innovation of the designers, as well as, the high-quality raw materials which were used to produce this astonishing collection that will be presented to the general public at Maison & Object 2017, in Paris.

Along with Sovrappensiero Design Studio, Incipit counts with a vast team of designers, all of them are young, creative and skilled, who create innovative and refined designs, in which you can appreciate all the creativity, opulence, and the high-quality standards.

The collection of objects and home accessories created by Incipit was designed having in mind the use of natural materials and crafted with environmentally friendly processes, including products like metal, glass, marble, stone, wood, cork, terra cotta, ceramic, paper.

Incipit distinguishes itself by the creation of delicate shapes and strong raw materials, creating contrasts between decorative and essential lighting designs.

Agata ceiling lamp is composed of a metal body, outlining a pure geometric shape which holds a glass mirrored lampshade through a softly shaped wood component.

“The glass hides or shows the lighting source through plays of light, transparency, and reflections. Agata lamp is elegant if used alone, but it can set up hanging graphic scenic designs if used in a bunch or row of lamps, also thanks to the different color shades.”

In addition, Agata collection was selected by Elle Decor for Best of Design 2016
