Kare Design at Maison & Objet 2015

Today CovetED would like to tell you about Kare Design. In Paris the furnishing pioneers with brand shops in 40 countries are setting the course for the upcoming furnishing trends of 2015/2016. Whether it’s dressers with metal fittings featuring moon motifs, bright and cheerful wooden furniture with graphic prints going under the highly appropriate name of ‘Soleil’, or brash pop art designs in Bauhaus colours – at Maison & Objet KARE’s creative spirits will be presenting their new products in a stylish orgy of materials, colours and shapes.

Furnishing should engage the senses and be fun – and this is precisely what members of the digital generation are looking for when they’ve finished work for the day and withdraw into the peace and quiet of their own four walls.

Throughout its success story since 1981 KARE has succeeded in staying well ahead of consumer trends and offering its customers an innovative and varied product range. The KARE trend scouts have discovered three furnishing trends which are now recharging our batteries with enthusiasm: Cosy Cosmos, Modern Delight and Sunny Side.

KARE designs furniture, lamps and accessories, creating out-of-the-ordinary ideas for the trend worlds of interior design. Thousands of new products every season, a keen eye for consumer trends and the courage to create bold designs are the success factors of the brand which this autumn will be presenting its products at Maison & Objet.

Cosy Cosmos
Here modern furnishing comfort stretches from dark, mysterious rooms with a touch of steam punk and meteorite lamps right across to elegant mid-century arrangements with sophisticated sideboards whose wooden fronts have been laser carved. Cognac and whiskey dominate in the colours of the wood, while exclusive leather is accompanied by copper and brass-coloured metallic surfaces which give side tables, lamps and accessories their magical glow. Modern Delight
Friendship, family, festivity – in these collections totally relaxed furnishings combine with retro classics enhanced by Nordic lightness and French joie de vivre. Clean-lined, modern shapes and geometrical patterns in pastel colours form cool partnerships with light wood, coloured glass and concrete to create feel-good oases. Sunny Side
You can never get enough when it’s a matter of feeling happy. The Pop Art collection, which generates a revival of the primary colours of blue, yellow and red in furnishing design, was created specially for lovers of clean lines.
