The Grand Opening of Venice’s Homo Faber Event Is Finally Here ⇒ The Highly anticipated Homo Faber event has finally opened its doors today and is ready to show to the world the best of European Craftsmanship. Organised by the prestigious Michelangelo Foundation, the event’s main mission is to craft a more human future. It is currently taking place at Fondazione Giorgio Cini, in Venice, Italy where a group of master artisans, designers and creators are showcasing the beauty, value and meaning of craftsmanship. Today, CovetED offers a sneak peek inside the marvellous event that is giving the spotlight to arts that aren’t appreciated enough in our contemporary world.

The beauty of Homo Faber is that it doesn’t have a sole focus, it encompasses a wide range of disciplines that really transcend the importance of craftsmanship. Featuring 4,000 square metres of space, visitors have the chance to see exquisite pieces, including jewellery, artwork, bespoke designs and accessories, cars, decorative tableware, sculptures. etc as well as innovative installations and live showcases of artisans practising their craft.
