Giorgetti Atmosphere Ares
To mark its 120th anniversary, Giorgetti is celebrating this important occasion at Salone del Mobile 2018 with exceptional designs that tell the story of the brand. Decade after decade, the company’s refined Made in Italy manufacturing know-how and its exceptional capacity for innovation create the Giorgetti lifestyle experience. Using its collections of furniture and decorative accessories, the brand designs spaces in an increasingly tailored and complete manner. Its versatile, charming designs are created by the most renowned international designers and produced in Italy by the company’s master artisans. A profound sense of style and high-quality raw materials produce timeless pieces that easily fit into any environment.

Icons of design and new products define the rhythm of the large exhibition area prepared at Rho Fiera. The architectural structure is light, full of character and enhanced by the façade, which displays a striking play of graphics using the pictogram adopted as Giorgetti’s new logo. The spirographical design pays tribute to one of the company’s icons: the walking stick handle that characterises the arm of its Progetti armchair.
Giorgetti Atmosphere Kendama
Inside, the elegant rooms typical of Giorgetti’s style come to life. With a unique, complex, balanced approach to interior design, the company demonstrates its ability to interpret the needs of contemporary life without abandoning the heritage on which it has built its reputation. The soft, welcoming, sophisticated rooms assume the neutral tones typical of Giorgetti’s interior design style. Touches of colour are provided only through highlights in teal, pink, brick-red and alternating areas of black and white. With their innate three-dimensional texture, the textile components interpret the new Giorgetti palette and complement the woods, crystal and marbles used, while refined production methods enhance the charm of these fine raw materials.

In contrast to the architectural area of the stand, which represents Giorgetti’s interior design vision, a gallery presented like a museum exhibition displays the special piece of furniture designed by the architect Chi Wing Lo, which celebrates the company’s 120th anniversary. It is a sculpture of memories consisting of 120 exquisite compartments representing the 120 years of continuous pursuit of excellence in design and craftsmanship. Also displayed in the gallery are two of the company’s icons in new editions for the event: the Dry armchair by Massimo Morozzi and the 50250 folding chair by Adriano and Paolo Suman. Two extraordinary examples of the cabinet-making skills of the company’s Matrix division in the 1980s. Two visionary designs that combine sculptural ideas with technological innovation.

Among the new products, there are pieces by the most prestigious contemporary designers, who consider Giorgetti the ideal partner for creating good designs, a partner that can combine creativity, function and quality. Carlo Colombo, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, Umberto Asnago, Roberto Lazzeroni and m2atelier are the stars of the 2018 edition of Salone del Mobile in Milan. In the same way, the Giorgetti Atmosphere collection has some new items to broaden its range of decorative accessories. These include rugs, vases, boxes, tea services, lamps and ornaments.
Pegaso by Roberto Lazzeroni
Far from the vibrant energy of the fair, the company presents the future of interior design in its showrooms at Giorgetti Atelier in Via Serbelloni and at its store in Via Durini. These venues are the privileged stage on which the Giorgetti lifestyle is presented. The rooms, furnished with items from the collection, define a journey in which design, style and architecture come together to demonstrate the brand’s potential. At the first one, a selection of designs is displayed, including a composition of the Apsara outdoor system. At the second one, there is a new layout for the GK.02 kitchen and there are designs by Carlo Colombo displayed in the window.
Sinbad by Roberto Lazzeroni
The theme of the kitchen, with its architectural features and refined finishing touches, has now become part of Giorgetti’s design vision. To coincide with Eurocucina, in fact, the company is presenting GK.03, an evolution of the two previous designs with which Giorgetti renews its commitment to developing a complete interior design solution.
