At Maison&Objet 2015 the light designer duo Akari-Lisa Ishii and Motoko Ishii have created an itinerary on «Light & Happiness».

The Art Directors of the thematic exhibition have selected some exclusive lighting materials, light sources, luminous materials, artistic applications in order to demonstrate the «musts» to  target visitors and journalists, under the sub-theme of “Happiness”.

The exhibition called «Light Trend» aimed at presenting the latest technologies in lighting, discovering the know-how of lighting design, on a worldwide basis, producing some exclusive lighting experiences, created for this occasion and sharing the experiences with all opinion leaders in the decoration field from all over the world.

The project was called happiness because this year is the «international year of light» organized by United Nations and UNESCO. What is more, the 20th anniversary of Maison & Objet is a great reason to call it so as well. In addition to this, the light can bring happiness to your heart and boost spirit, body and even environment.

Every visitor had an opportunity to  walk through these and experience many diverse expressions of light. Even more, as it was possible to reflect on what light can do for one’s happiness in the field of space design, and in different scenes of our life.
