Fasten your seatbelt: summertime is coming! Bright colours and soft lines are what makes the new outdoor collection by Pedrali. The outdoor novelties by Pedrali characterise every space, from the most classic to the contemporary ones. Today CovetED will tell you everything about this new Pedrali’s Summer collection, keep reading down below.

Established in 1963 in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Pedrali is today a company that produces contemporary design furniture for public spaces, offices and homes in its production sites in Mornico al Serio (Bergamo) and Manzano (Udine). The headquarters in Mornico al Serio also features the automatic warehouse, whose outside concept was entrusted to the architect Cino Zucchi.

With summer just around the corner, it’s time to spend relaxing moments in the open air. The outdoor novelties by Pedrali characterise every space, from the most classic to the contemporary ones. The furnishings of the Italian company, with its 100% Made in Italy philosophy, are designed to enrich versatile, dynamic and contemporary spaces with light and colour: from café, hotel and restaurant outdoor areas to the patio of a historical villa, a garden or a Mediterranean terrace.

Within these contexts, chairs, armchairs and sofas stand out for the high level of innovation and the use of materials and technologies that guarantee resistance to weather and wear, in constant research for balance between functionality and aesthetics.

The combination of different materials and cutting-edge technologies predominate in Soul Outdoor, which brings us back to the nautical world. Designed by Eugeni Quitllet and presented at the Salone del Mobile 2019, this new, aluminium version with a seat made from shaped teak slats is a special evolution of the original version made in bent wood and launched by Eugeni Quitllet last year. A pleasant contrast between the curved aluminium frame and the teak ensure a great aesthetic result, thanks to the shininess of the metal while preserving the shape and the sinuosity of the lines.

Colour takes over gardens and terraces through Tribeca collection, by CMP Design, available in vibrant and bright nuances.  Tribeca draws inspiration from classic Sixties patio chairs made from steel and woven material. An outdoor icon, revisited with new materials:  a steel frame, combined with the elasticity of a profile in a vertically-woven plastic material that is remarkably durable, easy to clean and colourful.  The collection now gains two new lounge seating designs: an armchair and a two-seater sofa which are as fresh and dynamic as the other  Tribeca pieces. Handmade with meticulous attention to detail, Tribeca is exceptionally soft and comfortable;  the woven cording offers a fresh and dynamic sense of flow and openness to the seat.

Marked by enveloping comfort, the Remind armchair stems from the latest collaboration with Eugeni Quitllet. Its organic forms evoke the soft lines of the wooden chairs of the late 19th century. Moreover, with its functionality, versatility and universal design, Remind adapts to every furnishing style, both for indoor and outdoor spaces such as gardens, patios or courtyards. The breathable texture of the seat and backrest keeps the chair dry on rainy days and cool in summer, while also endowing it with a light and airy look.

Elliot table by Patrick Jouin has a strong identity that combines soft lines with sinuous natural forms. The table’s sophisticated architectural design conveys a striking sense of harmony and solidity, making it light and functional. With its elegant silhouette and minimal design, Elliot table has a strong identity that adapts to a variety of settings, designed for outdoor use, it comes in special finishes and an array of bright colours.

To light up summer nights, Pedrali proposes Giravolta, the wireless, rechargeable lamp with a contemporary design by Basaglia Rota Nodari. Giravolta was inspired by the lanterns of the past and makes atmospheres truly magical. The versatile and multifunctional Reva collection, designed by Patrick Jouin, comprises an elegant three-seat sofa, a lounge armchair and a sun lounger, each marked by smooth lines and generous sizes that evoke the relaxing, dreamy atmospheres of the summer season.

Finally, it can not miss Dome seating collections, designed by Odo Fioravanti, which evokes the glorious tradition of bistro chairs. The sinuous and elegant shapes of chairs, armchairs and stools are perfect for making city decor even more welcoming to relax/spend time with friends.

Tatami

In 2009, the polypropylene seating collection Tatami was designed by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci. A timeless collection which perfectly suits the new ways of enjoying the open air life and that expresses the desire to discover nature and the pleasure to live outdoors. The typical woven of the shell guarantees the appropriate comfort to foster relaxation and well-being.
