2015 is a special year for the Italian brand Baxter that has built its reputation by seeking and preserving craft excellence. In view of this occasion, Baxter blew out its first 25 candles and decided to celebrate it in a fantastic location situated in the heart of Wynwood Art District in Miami.

Reinterpretation of classic design in modern key, the Charlotte Longe armchair is characterized by wide armrests
and a reclined backrest for a relaxing seating. Wide, deep and enveloping, it is the evolution of the Charlotte
armchair. Undoubtedly reassuring in its finishes and carefully controlled in every detail, we can appreciate the
handicraft manufacturing of leather.

Through 25 iconic products, everyone could experience the stylistic evolution that has characterized Baxter in terms of shapes, styles, materials and colours. Three wide rooms where the products exhibited became undisputed main character and leather is the master. It appeared to be a real exhibition itinerary where visitors were invited to enter and walk among the models that marked Baxter’s history from 1990 up to now.

Undisputed main star was the Chester Moon Sofa, product symbol of Baxter which is able to sum up with its simplicity, the importance of the shapes balance. The Chester Moon sofa was born from a reinterpretation of a classical model. It’s incredible how this project is able to sum up the importance of balance of the shape, still keeping its own simplicity despite the complexity of the techniques that characterize its realization. It is a sort of joining-ring between past and new century. It draws inspiration from the past for what concerns the history of the handicraft techniques that are necessary for its development and it ties up the new century for its simple and neat lines.
