Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas are known worldwide for their great creations in architecture. In the past 40 years Fuksas has grown into one of the most important architecture and interior design companies with more than 600 leading projects world wide, ranging from urban interventions to airports, from museums to cultural centers and spaces for music, from convention centers to offices, from interiors to private houses and design collections.

Fuksas main headquarters are divided between Europe and Asia based in the cities of Rome, Paris and Shenzhen.

Their Projects can be seen throughout Europe, Africa, America, Asia and Australia.

Furthermore, Massimiliano Fuksas has been awarded many international prizes of great prestige among which: 

The  “Crystal Globe IAA Grand Prix 2015” merit award in Bulgaria in 2015, “First Sustainable European Trade Fair – LEED EB:O&M certification” to New Milan Trade Fair in the city of Milan in 2014, the “Architizer A+ Award” and “Architizer A+ Popular Choice Award”, Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport – T3, Shenzhen, China, awarded in the “Transportation – Airports” category, New York, USA; Furthermore the “Wallpaper* Design Awards 2012”, EUR New Congress Centre, in Rome, Italy awarded in 2012 and the “Medal of the Presidency of the council of Ministers” in Italy in also in 2012 among many others.

FUKSAS: who and why
Massimiliano Fuksas was born in Rome in 1944. He studied architecture at La Sapienza University and in 1967 he opened an office in Rome followed by offices in Paris in 1989, Vienna in 1993 and Frankfurt in 2002. Doriana O. Mandrelli was also born in Rome, and studied History of Art, both modern and contemporary, at La Sapienza University – graduating in 1979. She has been working with Massimiliano Fuksas since 1985.
