This year is going to be a very special one for the giant event’s history. Met Gala will be part of a documentary by the filmmaker Andrew Rossi, and recorded by 225 approved photographers, reporters and even tweeters and Snapchatters.

The gala will be hosted by Jennifer Lawrence and the Chinese actress Gong Li. This year’s theme is “Chine: Through the Looking Glass”. The idea is to explore the Chinese aesthetics influence on Western fashion.

However, there is also a bad side of news. If you are a Kim Kardashian or Rihanna fan, you won’t be seeing any selfie of them on Instagram and Twitter. That is true! The use of all cellphones  for photography and social media are banned from the event and the rule is for everyone presented there, which is overseen by Anna Wintour.
