When it comes to the RISING TALENT AWARDS #MO19, after Italy, Lebanon and China, now it’s the turn of the United States to be honoured with the award. You’re still on time to wander into Hall 6 to discover the creations of promising names in design, specifically Alex Brokamp, Bailey Fontaine Green River Project, Harold, Kin & Company and Rosie Li.
Among some of the most marking moments of MO19 was the presence of Milanese gallery owner Rossana Orlandi who decided to put the spotlight on plastic: recycled, reworked, recovered, it shifts from the status of annoying waste to that of the material of the future. This incredible talk featured the ideas of Rossana Orlandi (Founder of Guiltless Plastic), Alexander Schul (Designer) and was moderated by Clara Le Fort (Editor & Creative Director).

Another relevant presence was that of Laura Gonzalez, a top architect known for her amazing creations throughout the city of Paris, with classical style inspiration, on a set of restaurants, bars, hotels, and stores. She’s one of the main highlights at Maison Et Objet 2019. You’re still on time to head down to the entrance of the Hall 7, to see the wonderful Café Signature she conceded, in collaboration with Pierre Frey, along with a selection of dishes and pastries designed by Pierre Hermé.
Among some of the best stands, we have to mention WORK! by Chantal Hamaide currently located in Hall 6. The philosophy behind this stand focuses on the idea that these days work-related objects must fit into all possible scenarios, specifically referring to mobility and comfort to their usage. This is the perfect start to check out of you want to find fitting furniture for a workplace.
