It was Kartell’s Passion for excellence, which has guided this step into the focus on environmental responsibility and good sustainability practices. For this collection, the team of the brand relied mostly on raw materials entirely recyclable, giving them a new lease of life thanks to material machining processes for industrial-use products.
“It’s not a question of simply creating a product that seems green, but of generating an industrial strategy that involves the entire manufacturing process, from the business plan and marketing to communication actions and the sales network” – Claudio Luti, Chairman of Kartell.

The set is divided into three categories: A.I., Smart Wood, and Bio. The A.I. sector has pieces made of 100% recycled material, combining with generative design. Smart Wood is a set of furniture pieces transformed with a careful touch of wood, with products which have obtained the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certification. Lastly, Bio consists of a set of elements made out of waste materials from farm production procedures.
Kartell loves the planet is a result of extensive technological research and development, which led them to find materials that can be regenerated and which have no negative impact on the environment. Right now the company boasts GREENGUARD certification for all its products, guaranteeing a set of elements which do not emit many emissions and which safeguards indoor air quality needed in a home.
“We have to talk about the product’s sustainable quality and at the same time the sustainable manufacturing process, guaranteeing products that are consumer health-friendly”. – Claudio Luti, Chairman of Kartell.
