The Koket brand is the reflection of its creator, Janet Morais. She found love with a sketch of a chair over cocktails in a New York City lounge and that is how the idea of Koket came to life. HAMILTON HOLMES
The name comes from the furniture maker and sculptor living and working in Hamilton, Ontario. Based on a contemporary style with traditional techniques, he focuses on the professional methods that have stood the test of time (hand-cut joinery, proportional design…) ensuring a quality standard. From the initial sketch to the mastering of the piece, the studio prides itself on its attention to detail.
PAULA MCDONALD
With Paula Mcdonald on the charge, based on the functional and practical concepts, elegant simplicity is the philosophy for this design project. The dedication of her design building team mixed with Paula’s comprehensive approach on her client’s needs are the keys for a successful outcome in the industry of concept construction. Fine art background, experience and passion complete her ways.
